Regional Sales Manager ( Decorative Lighting ) £65-70k + Neg Basic Plus High OTE + Car Choice 

Overview:

Due to continued expansion, Our Client is looking for a Southern Regional Sales Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be expected to deliver against challenging but realistic sales targets by maximizing the potential of existing channels and identifying new opportunities.
This is a key role and will appeal to someone keen on taking responsibility and making a difference. You will be instrumental in shaping and developing business within the key UK market both through your own endeavours. You will have a lot of flexibility and be expected to propose innovative but appropriate strategies that enhance sales, customer service and the Company's brand.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Developing the regional business to deliver the UK sales objectives and taking full responsibility for delivery.
•        Drive sales revenues in conjunction with the national team in delivering the strategy, including regular time with them in the field.
•        Providing timely advice and guidance to the UK sales team and customer services.
•        Developing opportunities within the UK hotels, hospitality, marine, and contracts sector in conjunction with the existing business and taking full responsibility for its development throughout southern UK.
•        Managing and developing house accounts to their full potential and visiting them on a regular basis.
•        Identifying additional opportunities for UK sales growth.
•        Providing market research and analysis to the Commercial Manager to support decisions on product development and pricing.
•        Providing input to the Marketing Manager to ensure the marketing and PR activities support the strategy to deliver the UK sales objectives.
•        Regularly visiting customers, exhibitions, trade shows and networking events.

Requirements:

•        Demonstrable success in a similar role, ideally within the decorative lighting industry.
•        Highly organized and capable of managing several conflicting priorities.
•        Ability to motivate, manage ( when applicable )  and support a dispersed sales team.
•       The right candidate will also have:
•        An enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated personality and the ability to quickly contribute to the Co’s culture and way of working.
•        Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•        Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK on a regular basis.
